For over three decades, we lived and breathed mukhawar. As designers who have spent more than 30 years crafting the garment that defines everyday elegance across the Gulf, we understood one truth better than anyone: the fabric makes or breaks the mukhawar.
That understanding is what led us to found Aswan Fabrics in 2022.
The Story Behind the Brand
We are not merchants who stumbled into fabrics. We are designers — specialists in mukhawar since 1991 — who grew frustrated with the gap between what our craft demanded and what the market offered.
After decades of searching, testing, and compromising, we decided to solve the problem ourselves. Aswan Fabrics was built from the inside out: by people who know exactly what a mukhawar needs to drape, breathe, and last — because we have been designing them for over 30 years.
